Non Perturbative Quantum Gravity:
Loops and Spin Foams

International Conference
3-7 May 2004
CIRM, Luminy, Marseille, France

REGISTRATION TO THE CONFERENCE IS CLOSED

Description

The conference is focused on loop quantum gravity and the spinfoam formalism. Its aim is to make the point on where we are in this approach to quantum gravity. In particular: evaluate the results obtained so far, point out open problems, and discuss the most promissing directions of development. The conference will be organized around four themes:

International Scientific Comitee

Scientific Program

The conference will be articulated in: The duration of these will be decided by dividing the available time by the number of communications accepted.

List of registered participants

If you are interested in presenting a communication look at the section "Communications" on this webpage. The detailed conference program will be decided on the basis of these submissions.

Lodging

The conference will take place at CIRM, a very pleasant conference center on the campus of Luminy, in Marseille. The sea is at a 20 minutes walk (in a spectacularly beautiful landscape) from the conference center.
Most participants can be lodged at the CIRM itself. CIRM provides meals as well.
The cost is as follows:
- Conference fee: 100 Euros
- Lodging and meals: 60 Euros/day in single room or 52 Euros/day in double room.
We have a certain amount of money available to contribute. See the section "Financial support."

How to reach CIRM

Registration-Lodging

Financial support and submission of scientific communications.

We shall allocate all the money we are able to collect for supporting participants. Priorities will be given to: - Requests of conference fees cancellation, - Requests of lodging reinboursement, - Traveling support for invited speakers that make explicit request, - Traveling support for students and young participants that could not come without. If you can use your own source of support, you can allow others without independent support to participate. Thanks. As soon as we know the amount of money available and on the basis of the number of people attending to the conference, we will let you know if we can support you.
